Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks a seasoned materials leader to drive major NPD initiatives in the chiller portfolio. You’ll partner with product management, engineering, materials, and operations to accelerate delivery, ensure stable launches, and improve inventory and long-range planning.

You will set up materials in ERP, validate BOM structures, lead PIPO efforts, manage change orders, and pursue productivity gains in line with FICAP standards. Strong leadership and data accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience in materials planning, procurement, and operations.
• APICS certification strongly preferred.
• Strong data analytics and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems with BOM expertise.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership to coordinate Buyers, Schedulers, and Warehouse Ops.

Responsibilities

• Serve as materials leader for assigned NPD projects from creation to stabilization.
• Ensure materials are set up in enterprise systems to support end-to-end use.
• Conduct audits and validate configurations for 100% data accuracy.
• Lead PIPO material planning and cut-over points with design changes.
• Resolve change order issues ensuring alignment with engineering variances.
• Drive materials productivity, inventory optimization, and obsolescence mitigation.
• Develop cross-functional teams using BOS tools and processes.
