Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a materials leader to guide NPD projects from inception through stabilization. You will coordinate with product management, engineering, materials, and operations to accelerate delivery, ensure stable launches, and improve the materials value stream.

You will optimize inventory, support long‑range planning, and enable high customer satisfaction by maintaining rigorous data accuracy and end‑to‑end process transparency across ERP platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of supply chain experience, including materials planning, procurement, and operations.
• Strong data analytics skills with advanced Excel capabilities.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and understanding of BOM structures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the materials leader for assigned NPD projects from project creation through product stabilization.
• Ensure all materials are fully and accurately set up in enterprise systems to support end to end use—from design through procurement, manufacturing engineering, production scheduling, and lifecycle management.
• Conduct routine system audits and validation of configurations to maintain 100% data accuracy across platforms.
• Lead Phase‑In Phase‑Out (PIPO) material planning initiatives, coordinating with planning, scheduling, and operations to establish precise cut‑over points for new designs.
• Address change order management issues, ensuring production aligns with engineering variances without downtime.
• Drive materials productivity improvements, inventory optimization, and obsolete material mitigation initiatives.
• Develop cross functional team members through deployment of BOS tools and processes.
