Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Materials Team Leader to oversee receiving, warehousing, shipping and inventory control. You will coach MDI, maintain standard work, track shortages and resolve flow issues on-site.

You’ll lead safety compliance, train staff, ensure material availability and accurate records, and manage logs and documents in line with compliance policies. This role requires hands-on leadership in a manufacturing environment at our Columbia, SC site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading materials teams and coordinating receiving, warehousing, shipping and inventory control.
• Proficient in Excel and data management.
• Ability to learn and use multiple systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of employees and adherence to EHS requirements.
• Lead MDI and other materials activities and meetings.
• Lead and train employees, providing feedback and coaching.
• Ensure material availability and accurate inventories.
• Ensure all transactions and logs are accurate and timely.
• Maintain compliance and retention documents.
