If the answer is yes, we invite you to consider joining us in boldly challenging what's possible for a sustainable world. Learn about our benefits designed for you to Thrive at work and at home. Where is the work: On-Site (5 days)
What's in it for you:

This is an exciting opportunity to support the growth of Trane Technologies by leading the materials strategy and execution for major New Product Development (NPD) initiatives within the chiller portfolio. You will partner closely with product management, product engineering, materials, and operations to accelerate project delivery, ensure stable product launches, and drive continuous improvement across the materials value stream. What you will do:

  • Ensure all materials are fully and accurately set up in enterprise systems to support end to end use—from design through procurement, manufacturing engineering, production scheduling, and lifecycle management.
  • Conduct routine system audits and meticulous validation of configurations to maintain 100% data accuracy across platforms.
  • Lead Phase-In Phase-Out (PIPO) material planning initiatives, adapting best-in-class methodologies to secure a seamless transition during design changes, which includes collaborating with planning, scheduling, and operations to establish precise cut-over points for new designs, eliminating production line disruptions.
  • Work through any change order management issues, ensuring production is aligned with engineering variances without causing downtime.
  • Drive materials productivity improvements, inventory optimization, and obsolete material mitigation initiatives. Action obsolete & slow-moving inventory (OSMI) in strict compliance with FICAP standards.
  • Develop cross functional team members at all levels through deployment of BOS tools and processes.
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Will consider experience in lieu of a degree.
  • APICS certification strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience, including significant exposure to materials planning, procurement, and operations environments.
  • Strong data analytical skills, including advanced Excel capabilities to conduct routine audits and maintain 100% data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems with a strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and part enrichment.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to facilitate weekly alignment meetings among diverse stakeholders like Buyers, Production Schedulers, and Warehouse Operations.
