Trane Technologies is seeking a senior materials leader for on-site operations in South Carolina. The role requires extensive experience in materials management, planning strategy, and inventory control within lean manufacturing environments.

You will manage supplier performance, drive process improvements, and collaborate across Sourcing, Engineering, Accounting and QA. A strong background in MRP, scheduling, and staff development is essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) is required or highly preferred.
• 10+ years in materials management in lean, MRP environments required.
• 5+ years in managerial roles focusing on standardizing planning & execution.
• Experience with rate-based, flow line (non-MRP) and job shop environments preferred.
• Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP, scheduling, and lean manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Manage materials management, planning strategy, inventory control and material flow for the site.
• Ensure optimization of scheduling, purchasing, inventory planning, supplier performance, and indirect materials management.
• Implement and support Material standards including SIOP, PSI, cycle counting and related processes.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Engineering, Accounting, Marketing, Materials operations and QA to support strategic goals.
• Develop countermeasures for underperforming processes or suppliers and drive supplier relationships.
• Lead a Lean Six-Sigma oriented team and organize staff assignments to meet demand.
• Support Global Procurement during supplier selection and promote APICS certification.
• Develop a professional development program for materials staff.
