Job summary

MSC USA – Charleston is seeking a Marine Operations VCI to collect and report information for US Port Calls and to support Marine Operations Managers on the ground. This role ensures Geneva HQ is kept properly informed and acts as a liaison among operations, vessel planners, and other departments.

Strong data analysis, Excel/Power BI proficiency, and a supply chain mindset are essential. On-site work five days a week with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Experience or knowledge of ocean maritime industry and supply chain environment.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and maintain reports to track patterns and trends in Marine Operations.
• Front-line problem solving for issues from operational misreporting.
• Liaise between Operations, vessel planners, and other departments for information.
• Use MSC USA IT system to retrieve, record, and analyze information.
• Escalate complex issues to supervisors when needed.
• Provide feedback to support process efficiencies.
