Job summary

Tremco CPG Inc. in Columbus, GA, is seeking an Operations Training Instructional Designer to design, develop, and deliver practical learning programs for manufacturing teams on the site.

You will partner with plant leadership and SMEs to translate complex processes into instructor-led, eLearning, and video-based materials, apply adult learning principles, and measure training effectiveness to drive safety, quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of instructional design experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Experience creating instructor-led, eLearning, and performance support materials.
• Experience with video-based learning and digital assets.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience working with operational SMEs.
• Excellent project management, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work in office and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging training programs for manufacturing employees and supervisors.
• Create instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, video-based, and performance support materials.
• Develop training materials (guides, SOP aids, job aids, assessments, etc.).
• Convert technical info into learner-friendly content using adult learning principles.
• Partner with plant leaders and SMEs to identify training needs and ensure on-site relevance.
• Establish and maintain training documentation and measure effectiveness.
