Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG), part of RPM International Inc., seeks a Plant Manager for its Columbus, GA facility. You will lead daily production, ensure safety, quality, service, and cost targets, and drive EH&S compliance while managing staff and capital projects.

Responsibilities include leading a lean manufacturing system (MS-168), coordinating with senior management, and fostering staff development and performance feedback to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
At least 3 years of management experience in a comparable manufacturing operation.
Experience with SAP/ERP and lean manufacturing is required.
Ability to use Excel, Word, and SAP in daily duties.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety of staff, visitors, and equipment per NA Manufacturing Safety Program.
Lead manufacturing team to high performance using lean tooling.
Interface with senior management to align goals with strategy.
Directly or indirectly manage site personnel and staffing.
Plan short- and long-term projects including capital planning.
Monitor investigations of variances and keep budget-focused.
Drive talent development, coaching, and performance feedback.
