Job summary

Southwest Equity Partners, Inc. is seeking an on-site, part-time Property Manager in Escondido, CA. The role requires living at the community and managing leasing, resident relations, and daily property operations to meet budgeted goals.

You will oversee rent collection, maintenance requests, and resident communications, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies. The position includes a rent discount for onsite housing and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of property management experience; multi-unit experience a plus.
• Proficient in Appfolio property management software or other similar software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the point-of-contact for all residents for site visits, leasing duties, rental inquiries and tours.
• Maintain high occupancy and rent levels per property plan.
• Resolve resident complaints promptly and manage rent/fees.
• Process service requests within 24 hours to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate resident communications and events.
• Oversee property inspections and maintenance compliance.
• Engage with owners to provide updates and performance info.
