Job summary

Southwest Equity Partners is seeking a part-time on-site Manager to oversee daily operations of the property, leasing, resident relations, and coordination of maintenance and services. Living onsite is a job requirement, with a studio or one-bedroom apartment provided at favorable terms.

The role includes budget input, rent collection oversight, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable housing laws. Strong multitasking and resident-focused service are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of property management experience; multi-unit experience a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under time constraints.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in supervisory role and managing staff.
• Proficient in Appfolio property management software or other similar software.

Responsibilities

• Be the point-of-contact for all residents for site visits, leasing duties, rental inquiries and maintenance issues.
• Maintain high occupancy and rent levels according to property plan.
• Resolve resident complaints and questions about rent and fees.
• Complete call-backs on service requests within 24 hours.
• Coordinate resident communications and events to enhance resident satisfaction.
• Manage budget input and monitor financial status with Director of Resident Services.
• Oversee lease enforcement and renewal processes, including inspections and notices.
