Job summary

Southwest Equity Partners seeks an On-site Manager in San Diego to oversee daily property operations, leasing activities, and resident relations. You will manage budgets, coordinate maintenance, and ensure compliance with housing laws while maintaining high occupancy and resident satisfaction.

You will supervise staff, oversee accounting tasks, and collaborate with the Director of Resident Services to meet financial goals.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under time constraints.
• 2+ years of property management experience; multi-unit experience a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in supervisory role and managing staff
• Proficient in Appfolio property management software or other similar software
• General office, bookkeeping and sales skills
• Must be detail oriented and able to focus with frequent interruptions
• Maintains confidentiality of operations

Responsibilities

• Be the point-of-contact for residents for site visits, leasing duties, rental inquiries and processing, property tours, rent collection, reporting and maintenance issues.
• Maintain high occupancy and rent levels in accordance with the property plan.
• Resolve resident complaints and questions concerning rent and fees.
• Complete call-backs on all service requests within 24 hours.
• Develop and coordinate resident communications, newsletters and surveys.
• Organize resident events and visits; ensure show-ready leasing offices daily.
• Oversee budget input and review financial statements with the Director of Resident Services.
• Greet residents, address needs, and ensure personalized, high-quality service.
