Ascend Staffing is seeking an On-Site Manager in Romeoville, Illinois. You’ll provide daily administrative and workforce support for staffing operations while helping ensure employees, client supervisors, and internal teams receive excellent communication and service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in staffing, HR, administrative support, or customer service preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Professional, dependable, and client-focused attitude.
• Comfortable using computer systems, email, and basic office technology.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site administrative support to staffing operations.
• Maintain accurate employee records, files, and documentation.
• Support compliance procedures and help ensure policy adherence.
• Assist with onboarding, employee check-ins, and new hire processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client supervisors and employees.
• Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and daily workforce needs.
• Communicate employee updates, attendance issues, and operational needs as appropriate.
• Assist with general HR, staffing coordination, and administrative tasks as needed.
• Provide professional, responsive support to employees and client contacts.
