Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician for our multifamily communities. This on-site role focuses on keeping units ready for new residents, performing routine maintenance, and supporting a safe, clean living environment.

You will work under the Lead Maintenance Technician, gaining hands-on experience in make-ready tasks, safety practices, and resident-ready turnover.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements of the position.
• 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Mon–Fri; schedule may vary.
• On-call work may be necessary; safety gear required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure make-ready readiness of vacated units and apartments.
• Assist with cleaning, trash-out, and general maintenance tasks.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff to deliver consistent service.
• Maintain property grounds cleanliness and communicate needs to supervisors.
• Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance work for compliance.
