Job summary

SunRidge Management Group seeks an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician for a multifamily community. The role supports upholding a clean, safe, and well-maintained living environment under the direction of the Lead Maintenance Technician.

You will assist with make-ready tasks, conduct basic repairs, coordinate with the maintenance team, and help ensure move-in readiness while maintaining a resident-focused service standard. This is an on-site, full-time position requiring reliability.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements of the position.
• Typical work schedule is 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday; schedule may vary for business needs.
• Occasional on-call work may be required.
• Must wear a back-support belt and gloves as dictated by tasks for safety.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete detailed make-ready checklists.
• Assist with cleaning, trash-out, and removal of bulky items as needed.
• Perform general maintenance tasks to prepare units for new residents (lights, locks, appliances, doors, etc.).
• Patch and paint walls, replace fixtures, and handle A/C filter changes.
• Document inspections and repairs and report needs to the Property Manager.
