Job summary

SunRidge Management Group Inc. in Dallas is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician to keep our multifamily communities safe, clean, and ready for new residents.

You will support the maintenance team, perform make-ready tasks, and help ensure property standards are met. This full-time on-site role involves inspecting vacated units, repairing or replacing fixtures, coordinating with the Senior Technician, and assisting with safety training.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements of the position and be able to follow directions effectively.
• Work schedule is typically 40 hours per week, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; however, the weekly schedule may vary as business needs require
• Scheduled on-call work may be necessary
• Must wear a back-support belt and gloves as dictated by specific tasks to ensure safety
• Required to wear appropriate footwear, such as non-flat-bottom shoes; flat-bottom sneakers are not permitted

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and assess make-ready needs with detailed checklists.
• Assist with cleaning and trash-out of units.
• Maintain cleanliness of community grounds and deliver notices as needed.
• Replace or repair lights, locks, faucets, appliances, doors, blinds, shelving.
• Patch and painting walls, inspect tiles, change A/C filters, and operate carpet cleaning equipment.
• Respond to service support needs from the maintenance team when requested.
• Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks completed during the make-ready process.
