Job summary

Sentral is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our on-site team at a residential property in Pittsburgh, PA. The role focuses on upkeep of buildings and grounds, preparing vacant units, and ensuring high presentation standards for residents and management.

Ideal candidates have a High School/GED and 1–3 years of related maintenance experience, with basic computer skills and the ability to read work orders and safety instructions. HVAC/EPA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Computer skills including internet, e-mail, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
• Familiarity with common cleaning tools and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Thorough and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day appearance of the buildings and grounds.
• Prepare vacant rental units for occupancy.
• Visually inspect buildings and grounds and report repairs or issues to Management.
• Ensure high-presentational standards for building environs.
• Respond to employee and resident requests courteously and promptly.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Keep work area clean and equipment in good working order.
• Learn management company and property policies.
• Follow OSHA and safety policies at all times.
• Seek opportunities to increase skills and knowledge.
• Wear prescribed uniform and maintain professional appearance.
• Be available to work on-call.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
