Job summary

Sentral is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support the upkeep of residential properties, prepare units for occupancy, and maintain high standards of care on-site. The role requires a can-do attitude, ownership of work, and a rotating on-call schedule.

This in-person position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and proactive problem solving, with opportunities to grow skills and advance within Sentral's hospitality-focused property management network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related experience or training.
• Familiarity with common cleaning tools and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders and safety rules.
• HVAC Certification (Preferred).
• EPA Certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds.
• Prepare vacant rental units for occupancy.
• Inspect buildings and report repairs or safety concerns to Management.
• Maintain appearance standards of building and surrounding areas.
• Respond promptly to employee and resident requests in a courteous manner.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Keep work area clean and equipment in good condition.
• Learn management company and property policies and follow OSHA safety standards.
• Pursue opportunities to expand skills and knowledge.
• Wear uniform and maintain professional appearance; on-call availability.
• Perform related duties as needed.
