Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Technician I to assist with oversight of the physical assets and ensure resident satisfaction. You will diagnose problems, perform general repairs, and assist with apartment make-readies.

You’ll support preventive maintenance and rehab projects, while upholding safety standards and BH policies. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a customer-focused approach on-site.

Qualifications

• Six months to one-year general maintenance and safety experience.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge required to perform job functions.
• Regularly performs manual, task-oriented work under direct supervision.
• High School or GED is a plus.
• Working knowledge of HVAC.
• Required to provide own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Uses industry-specific technology to ensure repairs and replacements are completed timely to restore units to move-in ready condition.
• Completes maintenance requests and upkeep within company standards, including exterior grounds and common areas, troubleshooting HVAC and assisting with make-readies.
• Assists with identifying and correcting hazardous conditions and reports hazards to management.
• Ensures preventive maintenance programs are followed and documented.
• Maintains and secures all property-issued tools.
• Post notices to vacate and other community communication, if applicable.
• Shares on-call responsibilities with the maintenance team and responds to resident requests.
• Follows OSHA and safety requirements and understands relevant codes and internal policies.
