Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Technician I to assist in the upkeep of our apartment communities. You will diagnose and repair issues, perform make-readies, and support preventive maintenance to keep units move-in ready.

Strong safety awareness and basic computer skills are required. You will work under supervision, handle tool inventory, and assist with on-site tasks including HVAC troubleshooting and resident requests.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of general maintenance and safety experience.
• Basic computer skills required to perform job functions.
• High School diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of HVAC.
• Own industry-specific hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Uses industry-specific technology to complete repairs and replacements to restore units to move-in ready condition within company standards.
• Completes maintenance requests and upkeep including exterior grounds and common areas; troubleshooting HVAC and assisting with make-readies.
• Identifies and corrects hazardous community conditions and reports hazards to supervisor.
• Ensures preventive maintenance programs are followed and documented per BH guidelines.
• Maintains and secures all property-issued tools.
• Posts notices to vacate and communicates with residents as applicable.
• Shares on-call responsibilities and responds to resident requests per company standards.
• Follows OSHA and safety requirements and understands relevant codes and internal policies.
