Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operation, inspection, and light maintenance of building systems at a community in Indian Land, SC, near Fort Mill. This entry-level role offers growth opportunities within our engineering team.

You will work 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, assist with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and complete work orders in CMMS, while staying on-site and collaborating with Operating Engineers and Chief Engineers.

Qualifications

• Related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school, union training, military service or college is desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall.
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment
• Perform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or painting
• Complete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintains appropriate service documentation
• Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe conditions
• Work closely under the direction of Operating Engineers, Chief Engineers and others
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
• Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)
• Other projects and tasks to be assigned
