Job summary

South Oxford Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the on-site maintenance team at our New Jersey community. You will ensure safe, efficient upkeep of buildings and grounds, supervise technicians, and coordinate work orders and preventive maintenance.

You will manage vendor relations, track maintenance records, and maintain compliance with safety standards while providing excellent resident service and a well-maintained property.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Three or more years in property maintenance or equivalent.
• Must be able to work on-site five days a week; not remote or hybrid.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/overtime/on-call hours.
• Must be able to walk the property and climb stairs.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team and supervise staff through mentoring.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and functionality, ensure standards.
• Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and safe work practices.
• Interface with vendors and contractors for bids and services.
• Maintain maintenance records, inventories, and make-ready tasks.
