Job summary

CLK Multifamily Management is seeking an Apartment Community Maintenance Supervisor to oversee repairs and upkeep of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and related systems across the apartment community. The role blends hands-on work with leadership to maintain a safe, motivated maintenance and office team.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of apartment maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification required (Universal preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• On call rotation is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department and team.
• Evaluates maintenance reports and assigns residents’ work orders or repairs to the maintenance team.
• Conducts weekly preventative maintenance assessments.
• Maintains maintenance procedures, schedules, and supplies for projects, shop inventory, make ready units, and amenities.
• Ensures work orders and repairs are completed correctly and closed out in the system for data accuracy.
• Assists with departmental budget estimates and project costs.
• Participates in monthly safety meetings and maintenance calls.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Establishes relationships with outside vendors.
• Assist with hiring and training maintenance staff.
• Organizes and oversees schedules and work of maintenance staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations with the property manager.
• Assists in employee-related matters.
