Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team across the property, ensuring timely upkeep of buildings and grounds. You will schedule daily tasks, assist in hiring, train staff, and coordinate vendor work with the community manager.

The ideal candidate has HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and a proven ability to maintain positive relationships with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge
• Plumbing knowledge
• Electrical knowledge
• Hand tools including power tools
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts
• Property maintenance/handyman experience
• Supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance team and property upkeep
• Schedule daily maintenance tasks and prepare vacant units
• Assist with interviewing and screening maintenance staff
• Train service, custodial, and grounds personnel
• Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment; keep logs and MSDS up to date
• Coordinate vendor work and manage inventory of supplies
