Job summary

The Bainbridge Companies seeks a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead on-site maintenance staff at our Florida properties. You will manage plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and appliance repairs, while controlling costs and ensuring high curb appeal to renew leases.

You will train staff, oversee turnkey operations, manage preventative maintenance, enforce safety policies, and coordinate with the Property Manager to deliver top-quality resident service and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing major appliances, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Experience leading maintenance staff in a property management setting.
• Ability to manage budgets and negotiate bids.

Responsibilities

• Participate in company training classes and meetings; ensure staff receives training.
• Organize and prioritize service requests and repairs to meet timelines.
• Inspect grounds, buildings and community features for curb appeal and liability control.
• Oversee turnkey operations; ensure units are rent-ready promptly.
• Adhere to SOPs and safety policies; maintain MSDS binder.
• Work with Property Manager to obtain competitive bids and manage expenses.
