Job summary

The Bainbridge Companies is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor on Bainbridge Island to lead on-site maintenance staff and ensure timely repairs, safety and high curb appeal. You will manage budgets, supervise technicians, and coordinate with the Community Manager to renew leases.

This role requires at least four years of supervisory maintenance experience, strong English communication, and the ability to read diagrams, meters, and operating instructions.

Qualifications

• Must be a hands-on maintenance supervisor with ability to perform plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC and appliance repairs.
• Minimum four years of supervisory experience in community maintenance or related field.
• Fluency in reading and writing English; on-site resident management software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prioritize and ensure service requests and repairs are completed timely.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to maintain curb appeal and minimize liability.
• Oversee turnkey operations and ensure vacant units are rent-ready promptly.
• Maintain budget adherence and seek cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Recruit, hire and train staff; coordinate bids for maintenance-related expenses.
