Job summary

The Bainbridge Companies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage on-site maintenance staff and ensure timely repairs, preventive maintenance, and rent-ready turnover. You will supervise technicians, groundskeepers, housekeepers, and others under the direction of the Community Manager.

This hands-on role requires budgeting knowledge, cost control, strong customer service, and the ability to communicate with residents and vendors. A driver’s license and EPA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Four years minimum experience as supervisor in community maintenance or related field.
• High School education or equivalent; college degree is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Participate in company training classes and meetings, ensure staff receives training.
• Organize and prioritize service requests and repairs in a timely manner.
• Inspect grounds and buildings to maintain curb appeal and minimize liability.
• Oversee turnkey operations and ensure units are rent-ready promptly.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and budget guidelines.
• Maintain safety training and MSDS binder for staff.
• Schedule and complete the Preventative Maintenance Program per property.
• Recruit, hire and train quality staff; handle promotions and terminations as needed.
• Obtain competitive bids for maintenance-related expenses.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors, and the community.
