Legacy Partners seeks an on-site Maintenance Technician to manage day-to-day upkeep of our multifamily communities. The role involves coordinating repairs, painting, grounds maintenance, and resident support under the direction of the Business Manager.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday with on-call emergencies; it requires leadership of maintenance staff and collaboration with management to uphold property standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance or related fields.
• Ability to perform minor repairs on appliances, plumbing, electrical fixtures and household items.
• Experience with painting interiors/exteriors and light carpentry.
• Ability to clean and maintain common areas and grounds.
• Experience preparing apartments for new residents and conducting turnovers.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices and safety compliance.
• Ability to maintain records, work orders and vendor coordination.
• Strong communication with residents and team members.
• Leadership experience supervising maintenance staff and coordinating inspections.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance – Perform minor repairs on appliances, plumbing, electrical fixtures, and household items.
• Painting & Carpentry – Paint apartment interiors and exteriors; fix doors, windows, shelving, and floors.
• Cleaning & Grounds – Clean apartments and common areas; manage trash, windows, and landscaping.
• Apartment Turnovers – Prepare units for new residents; assist with inspections and turnover records.
• Preventative Maintenance – Schedule and perform routine equipment maintenance; monitor safety.
• Records & Compliance – Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and vendor logs; ensure policy compliance.
• Resident Support – Communicate clearly during service calls; educate residents on basic maintenance.
• Team Leadership – Supervise maintenance staff; lead safety meetings and schedule inspections.
• Team Collaboration – Coordinate with management for inspections and emergency on-call coverage.
