Job summary

RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager for an assigned community. You will maintain and enhance property value, stepping in as Maintenance Manager when needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating after-hours maintenance, completing work orders promptly, documenting activities, and collaborating with residents, team members, and external contractors to ensure safe, well-maintained living spaces.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience or training.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and respond to emergency on-call and after-hours maintenance.
• Complete work orders and tasks within 24-48 hours with updated records.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate with residents, team, and supervisors.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, flooring, carpentry, drywall, and exterior maintenance.
• Perform sheetrock repairs to maintain aesthetics and structure.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety laws.
• Collaborate with team, departments, and external contractors.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to uphold property quality.
• Assess property safety and cleanliness; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Report supply needs and maintain shop organization.
• Fill in as Maintenance Manager in their absence.
