Job summary

Pfizer Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Coordinator to oversee preventive, calibration, and corrective maintenance at our on-site penicillin manufacturing facility in the United States. The role involves scheduling, resource optimization, and ensuring compliance with GMP/GDP standards.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, packaging, lab, EHS, quality operations and engineering teams, attend scheduling meetings, and drive continuous improvement through cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with any years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), CMMS, and other relevant software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate cross-functional meetings effectively.
• Effective time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate preventive, calibration and corrective maintenance to optimize resources.
• Develop and communicate maintenance schedules; review and close work orders.
• Plan maintenance and engineering activities for plant shutdowns.
• Support safety initiatives, investigations and corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Coordinate contracted support and oversee external vendors as needed.
• Support general facility maintenance including pest control, grounds, and repairs.
• Assist with PM instruction revisions, execution, extensions, or archival.
