Job summary

JLL seeks a Maintenance Mechanic in Lansing, MI, to perform maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment under the direction of Facilities and Operations Managers.

Responsibilities include HVAC/R, power systems, and building automation, with focus on safety, preventive maintenance, and spare parts management. On-site role with strong English communication and a valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training desirable.
• Minimum of one year in general building repair, plumbing and electrical.
• Excellent English communication—oral and written.
• Ability to comply with Jones Lang LaSalle and client policies & procedures.
• Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to preserve building assets under direction of Facilities/Operations Managers.
• Maintain HVAC/R systems, temperature and environment control, and safety protocols.
• Monitor and service power systems, UPS, and building automation monitoring.
• Ensure safety compliance and contribute to preventative and predictive maintenance processes.
• Manage spare parts inventories and support general housekeeping in work areas.
