Job summary

JLL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for an on-site role in Lansing, MI. You will perform maintenance and repairs to preserve building assets, under the direction of facilities managers.

Responsibilities include servicing process equipment, HVAC, power systems, and building automation, with emphasis on safety, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs. The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED, plus technical training and 1+ year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable.
• Minimum of one year of building repair/maintenance experience and basic plumbing/electrical.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems and equipment under supervision.
• Operate/mechanically service HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Maintain safety and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Order and manage spare parts inventories and tools.
• Provide preventative maintenance and troubleshooting across building systems.
• Assist in scheduling and completing PM tasks and repairs.
