Job summary

RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to maintain and enhance value at the assigned community. You will cover maintenance duties and assume Maintenance Manager responsibilities when needed.

Responsibilities include after-hours emergency coordination, completing 24–48 hour work orders, and documenting all activities for residents and supervisors. A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and proactive maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; EPA certification is required.
• 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience or training; combination considered.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and respond to emergency on-call and after-hours maintenance.
• Complete work orders within 24–48 hours with clear records.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate with residents and staff.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other systems.
• Perform sheetrock repairs and maintain property aesthetics and safety.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team and contractors for seamless maintenance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid issues.
• Assess safety and cleanliness per regulations.
• Report supplies and maintain shop organization.
• Step in as Maintenance Manager in their absence.
