Job summary

Glacier West Self Storage is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee on-site facility maintenance at Belfair locations, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate with vendors, handle preventive maintenance, and respond to emergencies across properties in your district.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to live on-site. 40-hour weeks with on-call responsibilities and travel between properties are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in facility maintenance or related field is required.
• Self-storage facility experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact with customers, colleagues, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on storage units and facilities (roof, gutters, leaks, siding).
• Maintain security systems, cameras, gates, fencing, and lighting.
• Manage groundskeeping and vendor relationships; assist with landscaping as needed.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and minimize disruptions.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; requisition as needed.
