Glacier West Self Storage is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead regular and emergency maintenance across our Belfair locations. The role demands strong mechanical skills, reliable, independent work, and the ability to travel between properties within the district.

You will oversee unit and facility upkeep, security systems, and groundskeeping, while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. This is an on-site role requiring a live-at Belfair residence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of facility maintenance experience required; self-storage cannot be excluded.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety across facilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks and ability to adapt to new software.
• Reliable, self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties as needed.
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Willingness to respond to emergencies outside normal hours.
• On-site residency is required at Belfair location.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance of storage units (springs, hasps, seals).
• Oversee facility maintenance including roofs, gutters, and siding.
• Manage groundskeeping and vendor relations for curb appeal.
• Inspect and maintain security systems (cameras, gates, fencing, lighting).
• Perform maintenance on elevators, doors, and carts.
• Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize disruption.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies; order as needed.
• Support other properties as needed to meet goals.
• Learn and leverage workplace applications and tools.
• Fulfill other duties assigned by management.
