Glacier West Self Storage is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a full-time position serving properties in Tualatin, OR, Woodland, WA and Vancouver, WA. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance leadership and safety compliance across multiple sites.

You will oversee maintenance staff, coordinate with contractors, manage inventories and expenses, and ensure make-ready units meet company standards. Travel among sites is required; forklift certification is preferred or must be obtained.

Qualifications

• Intermediate mechanical skills.

• Basic carpentry and sheet-rock skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly support properties with completion of work requests.
• Assist operations manager to maintain standards and curb appeal.
• Ensure safety, workmanship and conduct of maintenance staff.
• Perform regular inspections to assess damage and needs.
• Schedule work and ensure timely completion on properties.
• Maintain make-ready condition of units to company standards.
• Evaluate outside contractors and vendors, reporting findings.
