Job summary

Woodmont West at Mt Arlington in Mount Arlington, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Manager. The role reports to the Community Manager and oversees on-site maintenance staff to ensure apartment communities meet company standards and comply with laws in inspection, maintenance, and repair.

Responsibilities include supervising trades, scheduling turnovers, managing preventative maintenance, and coordinating with vendors and the Community Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years industry experience managing a team of 2+ technicians (External Hire).
• HVAC certification required (EPA).
• Internal Hire: 2+ years as Maintenance Supervisor with EPA HVAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise on-site maintenance staff and lead the team in diagnosis and repair (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting).
• Schedule and oversee apartment turnovers and preventative maintenance programs.
• Manage vendors, budget variances, and purchase orders in collaboration with Community Manager.
