The role focuses on keeping the property clean, safe, and attractive, while managing assets and staff to ensure residents enjoy a well-maintained living environment. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance tasks, prioritizing work orders, coordinating with contractors, training staff, and controlling inventories.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Prior experience reflecting overall general mechanical aptitude and ability.
• Valid Driver’s License (if operating a vehicle)
• EPA Certificate for Freon Recovery; HVAC Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site general maintenance and repairs of the properties.
• Organize turnover activities and preventive maintenance work; prioritize work orders.
• Order supplies and maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Ensure safe handling of potentially dangerous products and chemicals.
• Oversee outside contractors and inspect work; take corrective actions as needed.
• Train subordinate staff and participate in contractor selection and scheduling.
• Process purchase orders and invoices; maintain proper documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
