Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Manager to coordinate with the Community Manager to maintain the property and manage maintenance staff within budget, ensuring safety and resident satisfaction.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, oversee safety compliance, mentor technicians, and implement preventative maintenance plans while maintaining strong records. The role is on-site with varied hours to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience - Preferred.
• EPA certification required.
• CPO - Preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the proper maintenance of the property and grounds.
• Maintain the property's operating budget and secure competitive bids for supplies and services.
• Process purchase orders (POs) and invoices to keep costs under control.
• Review and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the community, including compliance with fire and safety codes and overseeing construction projects.
• Troubleshooting and repair various systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Liaise with property manager, respond to maintenance emergencies, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Implement preventative maintenance plans and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Mentor and train maintenance team members.
