Job summary

Archway Communities, Inc. is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to provide advanced maintenance expertise and day-to-day leadership across properties. You will coordinate tasks, mentor technicians, and uphold safety, quality, and resident service standards on-site.

The role balances hands-on work with leadership, troubleshooting, and collaboration with property management to maintain safe, welcoming communities. Prior experience in residential maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site maintenance operations and guide Technicians.
• Assign and prioritize work orders, unit turns, and PM tasks.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and procedures.
• Mentor and onboard new maintenance staff.
• Communicate property needs and challenges to Regional Manager.
• Perform advanced maintenance tasks (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Coordinate unit turns with property management to meet deadlines.
• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and documentation.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies when on call.
• Support vendor coordination and ensure work meets standards.
