Job summary

Archway Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold safe, functional, and welcoming affordable-housing properties. You will perform routine and emergency maintenance, complete work orders, support unit turns, and assist with preventive programs to ensure high resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate aligns with the mission, is dependable, and offers strong customer service to residents and staff across multiple sites in the Denver area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in residential maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of major building systems (HVAC, boilers, electrical, plumbing, elevators, roofs).
• Experience in affordable housing or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances and general building maintenance.
• Inspect units, common areas, and building systems regularly.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues to ensure resident safety and comfort.
• Assist with HVAC filter changes and safety device checks.
• Prepare vacant units including cleaning and repairs.
• Support preventive maintenance programs across properties.
• Document work and communicate issues delaying readiness.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating schedule.
• Engage with residents professionally and coordinate with vendor teams.
