Job summary

Kittle Property Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily grounds, curb appeal, and maintenance of vacant units at our on-site property in San Antonio.

You will manage a team including maintenance technicians, grounds, and porters, and coordinate with the Property Manager. This role requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience, basic math and communication skills, and the ability to supervise contractors and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Language Skills: Read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions, simple correspondence and present information one-on-one or in small groups.
• Math Skills: Add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals; compare rate, ratio and percentages; interpret basic graphs.
• Reasoning Skills: Follow detailed instructions with common sense understanding; solve problems with few variables.
• Computer Skills: Beginner experience with MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maintenance expenses and ensure they are below budget.
• Perform an inspection of community grounds each morning.
• Prepare all vacant units for occupancy; perform turn (painting, cleaning, maintenance of all vacant units).
• Complete all maintenance requests in a timely manner; perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain landscaping, bushes, trees and lawn; curb appeal duties.
• Supervise contractors working at the site; provide emergency resident support after hours.
