TheraHaven Staffing LLC, a national staffing and recruiting firm, is recruiting on behalf of a confidential AmLaw 100 law firm for a full-time, on-site Mergers & Acquisitions Associate in New York, NY. The associate will join a busy New York M&A group with high levels of partner exposure and early responsibility.

You will represent Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, investment banks and others in domestic and cross-border deals across buy and sell sides, including acquisitions,

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with NY bar admission or waiver eligible
• 2–6 years of M&A and strategic transactions experience at a law firm
• Experience with domestic and cross-border transactions on buy and sell sides
• Strong understanding of complex corporate issues in M&A
• Excellent written and oral communication, research, and analytical skills
• Willingness to take on more responsibility

Responsibilities

• Represent Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, investment banks in high-profile M&A
• Handle domestic and cross-border transactions on buy and sell sides
• Work includes acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, spin-offs, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and tender offers
