Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking a Long-Term Care Pharmacist for an on-site role in Wallingford, CT. You will dispense medications and provide clinical guidance to support safe, compliant LTC operations.

The position is contract-based with potential to hire permanently based on attendance and performance. Full-time hours are required (40+ per week) with benefits available after 90 days, including health, optical, dental, life, short-term disability, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree required and verifiable.
• Active Connecticut Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care (LTC) pharmacy required.
• On-site work in Wallingford, CT.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications per state/federal requirements.
• Monitor medication compliance and prevent overuse.
• Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy files.
• Provide patient consultation on medications, storage, dosage, and interactions.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and daily workflow.
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare teams.
