Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions LLC is seeking a Pharmacist in Wallingford, CT to dispense medications, counsel patients, and ensure safe medication use. The position is on-site with a 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift and full-time hours.

You will supervise staff, maintain records, and support patient services such as blood pressure and cholesterol management, while complying with state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
• Active Connecticut pharmacist license issued by the state board required.

Responsibilities

• Accept and dispense prescription medications.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and identify overuse patterns.
• Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
• Advise patients on medication use, side effects, storage, dosage, and drug interactions.
• Provide patient services, including smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement, and cholesterol management.
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions according to proper procedures.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
