Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Pharmacist license in good standing.
• 5+ years of pharmacy experience.
• BS in Pharmacy required. PharmD preferred.
• Strong leadership, management, communication and clinical decision making skills.
• Long term care, skilled nursing, assisted living or hospice pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day to day pharmacy operations ensuring efficient, accurate and compliant services.
• Coach and support staff creating a collaborative, high performing environment.
• Maintain pharmacy compliance, quality standards and dispensing accuracy.
• Build strong relationships with healthcare facilities, physicians, customers and internal teams.
• Oversee workflow, staffing, inventory, cost controls and operational performance.
• Use clinical judgment to resolve pharmacy, patient care and operational issues.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen processes, customer service and performance.
