OCASA in New York on-site is seeking a Logistics Specialist to coordinate shipments from start to finish and keep customers informed.

You will manage daily logistics operations, prepare export documentation, track shipments, and work with diverse teams to ensure on-time delivery. Strong English/Spanish communication and a proactive, detail-oriented approach are essential for success in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in logistics, operations and customer service.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and time management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with SAP, air freight, international shipping, cargo coordination, shipment tracking or freight forwarding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments from start to finish.
• Manage daily logistics operations including pickups, shipping, dispatch, delivery and collections.
• Book airline cargo space in advance and cancel unused reservations on time.
• Arrange export and air freight documentation (HAWB, MAWB, cargo manifests, invoices, packing lists).
• Track shipments and keep customers informed throughout the process.
• Support drivers and other operational activities as needed.
