BlueGrace Logistics is seeking an On-Site Coordinator for Government Services at our Jersey City facility. This hands-on role oversees trailer pool operations, carrier coordination, and compliance with government contract requirements on site, with emphasis on real-time inventory and issue escalation.

Schedule is on-site, Tuesday through Sunday, 6 am–2 pm, six days per week, with overtime pay. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong judgment, independence, and effective communication with

Competenze

• Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, yard management, or related field. Government freight or contract logistics a plus.
• Hands-on familiarity with trailer pool management and yard operations.
• Ability to work independently on-site with strong self-management.

Mansioni

• Maintain real-time inventory of all trailers at the Jersey City facility, with trailer number, status, location, and carrier assignment.
• Coordinate trailer movement to maximize efficiency and meet outbound freight requirements.
• Audit trailer pool against system records and report discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor trailer dwell times and address aging or idle equipment with carriers and Government Services team.
• Track and report trailer pool utilization, capacity, and condition to the Government Services Manager.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for carrier subcontractors, managing check-ins and communications.
• Coordinate carrier arrivals, departures, and load assignments per schedule and government requirements.
• Build professional relationships with carrier drivers and dispatch contacts for reliable execution.
• Monitor carrier performance at the site level and report issues to Government Services team.
• Communicate schedule changes and load updates clearly to carriers.
