Job summary

College of The Albemarle (Elizabeth City Campus) seeks an LMS Administrator to manage the college’s learning management system and related instructional technologies on-site in Elizabeth City, NC. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience administering enterprise learning management systems or comparable enterprise software.
• Experience supporting instructional technologies and providing technical support in a higher education or similar environment.
• Demonstrated experience independently diagnosing and resolving complex technical problems through to resolution with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated experience producing written technical documentation, standard operating procedures, or user-facing materials.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent assignments and deadlines and completing them as committed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the College’s primary administrator for the LMS and related instructional technologies.
• Handle LMS administration, configuration, maintenance, integrations, troubleshooting, technical support, and system optimization.
• Support enterprise learning technologies including Moodle and Canvas environments, SIS integrations, APIs, LTI tools, authentication systems, and accessibility.
