Job summary

Shoreline Community College is seeking a Learning Management System Administrator in the eLearning Resources Department. You will lead deploying and maintaining Canvas and related tools to support teaching and learning across campus.

As the technical lead, you will ensure secure, compliant LMS operations, integrate LTI tools, and collaborate with faculty and staff to enable innovative, technology-enhanced learning experiences while supporting a range of learning-focused technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in educational technology, instructional design, computer science, adult education or related field, or equivalent combo of education and work experience.
• Two years’ experience with system configuration and support of a major software system, preferably a learning management system.
• Education/experience may substitute year-for-year.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall LMS system management and related tasks, such as customization, configuration, installation, integration, maintenance, monitoring, operation, planning, and testing.
• Test interfaces and updates to LMS and integrations in pre-production and production environments.
• Serve as the tier 2 technical support for LMS and related apps; troubleshoot and resolve issues for students, faculty and staff.
• Ensure FERPA compliance and secure system practices.
• Manage integrations for user accounts, courses, enrollments, and automated functions.
• Collaborate with eLearning staff, faculty, and campus partners to implement innovative technology-enabled learning solutions.
