Job summary

The Leasing Consultant for Evolving Solution Services in Prince Frederick, MD will drive leasing activity, show available apartment homes, process applications, prepare lease documents, and support resident services throughout the lifecycle.

You will conduct community tours, coordinate screenings, follow up with prospects, and maintain accurate records in the property management system to ensure smooth move-ins and lease renewals. Strong sales and customer-service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year of direct leasing experience or at least one year of related sales, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
• Strong sales, customer-service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and provide a welcoming, professional leasing experience.
• Process rental applications and prepare lease documents.
• Coordinate required credit, background, rental history, income, and other screening procedures.
• Conduct community and apartment tours.
• Follow up with prospects to maximize leasing conversions.
• Maintain accurate leasing, applicant, prospect, and resident records in the property management system.
• Support lease renewals and resident-retention efforts.
• Communicate leasing activity and market feedback to the Community Manager.
